The Challenge
Our challenge was to translate Vango’s brand ethos into an authentic, memorable experience that would foster genuine advocacy. Instead of relying on staged marketing content, we set out to create an environment where real stories could unfold naturally, where adventure wasn’t just shown, but truly felt.
The aim was to bring Vango’s values to life through immersive experiences that allowed guests to connect with the brand on a personal, emotional level, while reinforcing its reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation.
The Result
Introducing Vango Into The Wild…
To bring the Spirit of Adventure to life, we launched Vango Into The Wild — an immersive wild-camping experience designed to connect people with nature in a meaningful way. Guests were welcomed to a fully prepared basecamp in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, complete with Vango gear and Merrell footwear, before setting off on a guided hike through scenic waterfalls and panoramic fell-top views.
The experience blended adventure with rest and connection, featuring wilderness dining, river dips, sauna sessions, fireside dinners, and sunrise yoga — all curated to inspire relaxation, community, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
To make this activation possible, we partnered Vango with CampWild, the UK’s leading wild camping community. Together, we hosted an exclusive overnight retreat for a handpicked group of influencers, content creators, and key media figures — offering them a rare chance to unplug from everyday life and immerse themselves in one of the UK’s most untouched landscapes.
The retreat welcomed 24 influencers and creators with a combined Instagram following of 387,000. Over the weekend, their content generated 688,000+ impressions, 6,300 direct engagements, and 63,700 Reel plays. More importantly, the event repositioned Vango as more than a gear supplier — it became a catalyst for real adventure and authentic outdoor experiences. The atmosphere encouraged honest storytelling over scripted promotion, resulting in genuine word-of-mouth and long-form content that resonated far beyond the campsite.
