Having (just about) recovered from an incredible, but challenging loop of the island, Will looks back at some of the best bits from Brandwave Bike Club’s recent ride out.
With blue skies above, a gentle south westerly breeze in full flow and an epic group of riders assembled from across the wider sports and outdoor industries, the stage was set for Brandwave Bike Club’s loop of the Isle of Wight.
After hopping off the ferry and onto the island, we left Ryde Pier for a full road ride lap of the island. With sea views, monumental climbs, rolling hills, buttery smooth lanes and some great coffee stops, it’s fair to label it as one of the all-time bucket list routes for all road riders!

”So great to meet everyone on the ride, it’s the best way to enjoy fitness and make some friends. The social aspect was the best bit for us and it made the hills less painful!

”Top day out on the bike meeting some great people from the cycling industry. Brandwave were even kind enough to lay on some glorious Spring sunshine. Thanks for a cracking day in the saddle.

”I absolutely loved the Brandwave Isle of Wight group ride. Kudos, for organising such a great event, lovely company and top notch route.

”What an amazing day out with the Brandwave crew et al on the Isle of Wight. Big thanks for making it happen. No better time and place to ‘talk shop’ with the industry than when we’re all saturating ourselves in endorphins on the bike in the sun. Nasima & I both LOVED it - roll on the next one.
