Helinox returns to the Cour Carrée of the Musée du Louvre for a renewed partnership with Cinéma Paradiso.
Running from 1-4 July 2026, the four-night open-air cinema event will see 2,000 Helinox chairs installed beneath the Parisian sky, creating a premium viewing experience in one of the world’s most recognisable cultural settings.
The partnership marks a long-awaited reunion for Helinox and Cinéma Paradiso, following a successful collaboration in 2019, when 1,000 chairs transformed the Louvre’s courtyard into an outdoor cinema.
Seven years on, the scale has doubled, with Helinox once again bringing its lightweight, durable and design-led seating to a setting where culture, community and comfort come together.
“In 2019, Helinox was part of Cinéma Paradiso Louvre,” said Young Lah, founder of Helinox. “The 1,000 chairs we placed in the Cour Carrée were never just seats to us — they showed how a good chair can transform the moments people gather for. Returning to the Louvre after seven years is a true pleasure.”
